HSE’s Chief Scientific Adviser (CSA) intends to review the whole of the Health and Safety Laboratory’s (HSL) scientific activities over a four-year period. The 2009 Science Review is the first of the four to be completed and covers the Centre for Workplace Health clinical statistics, clinical modelling & epidemiology, biological monitoring, Centre for Interdisciplinary NanoResearch, immunology & toxicology, microbiology, and fibres.


The second review in October 2010 will cover fire and explosions.
